Tax Appeal Time for Lake View Township

2015 is the reassessment year for Lake View Township.  This triennial re-assessment is likely to have a substantial impact on the amount of property taxes you will have to pay next year.  Now is the best time to appeal the assessment on your property.  We and our clients have used Richard Shapiro’s office with very successful results.  We like that the cost of his service is only based on the savings from the appeal.  He charges a non-refundable $50 filing fee plus one half of the total amount of the difference between what the taxes for 2015 would have been with no appeal, minus what the taxes are to be for 2015 as a result of the reduction in assessed value obtained by Richard Shapiro.
